🚌 Huddersfield Bus Strike Called Off After Pay Deal! 🚌

Great news for Huddersfield commuters! Strike action by bus drivers working for First in Huddersfield has been called off after members accepted a nearly 16% pay rise.

Workers with the Unite union were set to walk out, citing pay levels lagging behind their colleagues elsewhere in West Yorkshire.

Under the new deal, wages will be increased to £15 an hour, backdated from September last year, with further incremental increases over the next two years. Drivers will also receive a one-off £200 payment, and their pay will rise by 15.76% by April this year.
